May 2, 1997, Niger obtained a 64 kbps international link to the internet. A DNS server, a server farm, a Web server and a Proxy Cache server complimented the connection.
In May 1998, the international link to was increased to 192 kbps.
Since 1998 we have repeatedly send emails to the cctld administrator and operator, as well as ICANN staff member from Niger, yet we have not received a single reply (in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011). Best advice is that this domain is dysfunctional.
